Somatic Coaching: Accessing Your Inner Wisdom
Somatic coaching helps individuals access their innate wisdom by tuning into the body’s intelligence. This process involves guided experiences that heighten awareness of subtle sensations, images, and textures within the body. Through these practices, we release stuck energy, ease tension, cultivate deep discernment, and interrupt destructive patterns. By bypassing the analytical mind, we engage the body’s wisdom directly, transforming limiting beliefs and empowering ourselves to make choices that align with our most authentic and fulfilling lives.
Somatic coaching recognizes the power of beginning in the depths of the body’s intuitive dimensions and letting that depth inform the actions that will lead us to our desired outcomes.
My Background & Approach
I began meditating at age five when my mother enrolled me in martial arts classes at a school founded by a friend of hers. At the time, I had no idea that this early exposure to the physical and philosophical teachings of the East would profoundly shape my path. By then, I had already recognized my heightened sensitivity to energies and emotions. This sensitivity often made life challenging, as I would easily become overwhelmed by certain people and environments, making social gatherings and crowds difficult to navigate. During my early years, I was more likely to be found reading, painting, or writing poetry in my room rather than socializing with peers.
As a professional facilitator, I became attuned to unspoken conflicts and unhealthy group dynamics, often feeling the energy shifts in my own body when people were frustrated, tired, or hungry. Through years of study and practice, my understanding of chi—life force energy—deepened, allowing me to harness my empathic abilities as strengths rather than feeling controlled by them. I learned to work with energy consciously and restore the body to balance through practices like Qigong and Thai Yoga Massage. As a shamanic healing practitioner, I mastered techniques to shift my awareness into Alpha and Theta brainwave states, accessing information beyond ordinary consciousness on behalf of my clients.
For me, Somatic Coaching became a natural integration of these powerful modalities, offering a holistic approach to personal transformation and healing. As a coach, I collaborate with my clients, guiding them to tap into their bodies’ profound wisdom and innate healing abilities, empowering them to cultivate lasting transformation from within.

What can I expect in a Somatic Coaching Session?
Each session lasts approximately 60 minutes. We begin with a somatic “drop-in” practice to ground ourselves in the body while clarifying your intention for the session. From there, I guide you through a body-centered dialogue with your inner self. Depending on what emerges, we may incorporate movement, automatic writing, visualization, vocal expression, or other embodied practices to support the process.
How to Prepare for Your Session
To make the most of our time together, consider the following:
Choose a Safe & Comfortable Space: Ensure privacy and a setting where you feel at ease.
Set an Intention: Reflect on what you hope to gain from the session, recognizing that multiple sessions may be beneficial.
Bring an Open Mind: Be willing to engage with your body’s wisdom and trust that the answers you seek are already within you.
Guiding Principles
1. The Body Knows
Our bodies hold both our traumas and our liberation. By listening to and honoring the body’s wisdom, we can navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and authenticity.
2. You Are the Expert on Your Own Life
Society often conditions us to seek external validation, but the most profound guidance comes from within. Through somatic awareness, we can strengthen our intuition and trust in our own inner knowing.
3. You Are Enough
Your existence, in its unique and beautiful expression, is inherently valuable. Systems of oppression and patriarchy have silenced too many of us, causing us to question our worth. By reconnecting with our bodies, we reclaim our voice and our inherent worthiness.
